I can't even remember a summer I haven't read or- re-read one of her books. Let's dive in!
Why do I love her books so much during the summer? Nantucket. It's pretty much always the setting on the gorgeous island in her novels. It's way more than just a pretty backdrop; Nantucket's basically a main character in all her stories! She nails the island's charm, its unique vibe, those classic New England houses, and the lively local scene so perfectly, you can practically feel the ocean breeze. Reading her books instantly zaps you to cobblestone streets, hidden beaches, and bustling clam bakes. It’s this consistent, ocean breeze setting that makes her novels feel like you're coming home to your favorite place every single year that just gives off pure summer vibes.
